Wastegate Actuator
The wastegate actuator is a pressure controlled device that opens the wastegate when a set pressure is measured, preventing too much boost being developed and over-spinning of the turbo. The "actuator pressure" is around 0.5bar on these cars and is the lowest pressure the turbo can be controlled to - below this your turbo pressure is controlled solely by your right foot :)
