Fueling

Fuelling is a term related to the ECU. The ECU determines what amount of fuel to add to the quantity of air it has measured to make a required air-fuel ratio. On a highly tuned setup you can quickly end up with incorrect fuelling which can lead to a lean condition (see air-fuel ratio) and engine damage, and also a rich condition. As standard these cars overfuel to varying degrees as protection against knock and heat related engine damage.
